Camping, Glamping and Pre-pitched tent options
BOTH OUR DOWN SOUTH AND NIGHTFALL VENUES WILL HOST OUR OWN TEMPORARY EVENT CAMPSITES CLOSE TO ALL THE ACTION. CAMPING IN OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER IS PART OF THE ADVENTURE BUT THERE IS NO NEED TO ROUGH IT.
Hot showers come as standard and our luxury sleep packages include both duvets and sleeping bags for each camper. Plus with heaters and insulated mattresses even the chilliest of nights will be snug. Campers will be right on hand to conveniently experience what HellRunner has on offer in the event centre. Located near to registration, our start/finish line and heated food and bev marquee, this is the super convenient way to get the most from your Rat Race HellRunner experience.
Our camping infrastructure includes dedicated showers and toilets with packages to fit all needs. Options range from simply pitching your own tent to hiring one of ours with mattresses, duvets, sleeping bags, heater and plug sockets. Event car parking is close by so you can save those legs for the run. Leave the hellish run experience behind and camp in comfort.
At our Nightfall (Silverstone Woods) site we offer the facility of booking a Park and Pitch space. This provides a dedicated 9m x 6m area where you can choose to have your car right next to your tent, or bring your campervan or caravan. Whatever package you choose, all campers need a camping pass to access our dedicated hot showers, toilets and drinking water point. We are offering camping passes that cover both Friday and Saturday night, or just Saturday for those arriving on the day of the event.
Join us and make a weekend of it in these awesome locations.

The bedrooms can have the divider removed to create flexibility for different sleeping layouts. These tents have been weather and fire tested to the European standard EN5912.

– Toggled privacy curtains – Provides privacy when required, can be rolled away when not in use
Our pre-erected tents come with the following optional extras:
500mm Comfort Sleep Mat with Pillow
The luxurious Comfort 5 range of self-inflating sleeping mats offers unrivalled comfort and convenience, featuring 5cm of optimised insulation with a stylish, soft-touch flocked finish on the top-side and a durable non-slip base won’t slip on your inner tent’s floor. A synthetic-filled pillow with pillow case will be supplied for your use with the sleeping mat.
Electric sockets and heater
You will gain access to our campsite generator electric supply via a three socket adapter within your tent that has a safety cut-off outside of your tent. This will supply power in line with that of standard 230V camping devices which can be used to run the 1500W fan heater we supply plus other appliances such as phones, laptops and camping (not domestic) kettles. EVENT CAMPING GUIDELINES
No BBQs of any type, no open fires, and no large “Calor gas” style bottle cooking/heating appliances due to risk of uncontrolled fire spreading, ground damage, and antisocial smoke and smell. Small personal gas stoves are permitted if used responsibly, but we encourage you instead, for the safety of everyone camping, to use the onsite catering facilities we have provided for you.
There is to be no camping in the event car parks as these spaces are not risk assessed, set-up or monitored for camping use and associated risks such as fire or collisions.
No dogs are allowed at Hell Down South due to livestock, horses and deer being on the estate. They are allowed at the event villages of Up North and Nightfall only as long as they are on a lead, under the control of their owners & are cleaned up after. Dogs are NOT allowed to take part in the runs or go in the campsite.
Come prepared. Clothing suitable for the conditions, a head torch, some wipes, ear plugs and emergency toilet roll will solve most issues. Please bring a bin bag so you can take your litter with you.
